Resonate

Resonate is a group for those in school years 7-10. It is run at Furzedown Youth Centre during the morning service from 10.55 and shared between MLBC and our partner churches. On the second Sunday of the month, Resonate starts at 10.30 to allow its members to rejoin their churches for communion.

Its core aims and objectives are:

Resonate: “to exhibit or show; put on display; to agree with.”

  • As Christians we are to put on God display, to resonate with the person and teachings of Jesus the Messiah. Jesus the Rabbi invites you to be His disciple. He says, ‘Come, follow me’.

Resonate: to continue something that has already been started.

  • We continue in our faith, a faith that is ancient, we are connected to thousands of years and millions of people who have followed and are following Jesus.

Resonate: to hear the same voice, a shared and common experience.

  • One of the reasons we meet together is to hear God the Father, in order to experience his love in a deep way, so that he, and we, will change our lives so that we resonate with the Spirit of God.

As we Resonate with Jesus, people will notice who we follow and what our lives
are about.
