Youth Club (FYC)

There are two youth clubs running in term time for young people aged 11-16. These can be found in the Furzedown Youth Centre (FYC) which is located in the lower floor of St. James Community Hall on Welham Road:

Juniors is for young people in school years 6 and 7 and runs on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7:30pm.

Inters is for young people in school years 8 to 11 and runs on Fridays from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

There are plenty of organised games as well as table-tennis, snooker, table football and XBOX. Crafts, baking, drama, street dance and other activities are also often available. Alternatively, you can just chill out, listen to music and chat on our comfy sofas with drinks and snacks from the café bar.

There are also occasional trips and activity weeks.

The cost is £2 per session but the first taster session is free.

If you are interested in joining FYC or would like further details please contact Bethany Goddard 07972 375202
