Youth Club (FYC)

 

The Furzedown Youth Centre (FYC) is a charity run by the Furzedown Churches providing activities for young people from the local communities of Furzedown, Tooting and Streatham. It employs full-time youth outreach worker and runs with the help of a team of volunteers from the Furzedown Churches and the local community. All staff and volunteers at FYC undergo a DBS security check. The Youth Centre has a purpose built space in the basement of St. James Community Hall on Welham Road.

 

Friday Night Youth Club 

The FYC Youth Club runs on Friday evenings from 6.00pm - 8.00pm for young people aged 11-17. Sessions provide a space to relax, socialise, make friends and be creative. Activities include table-tennis, snooker, XBOX and organised games, as well as crafts, painting and other activities. Alternatively, you can chill out, listen to music and chat on comfy sofas with drinks and snacks from the café bar. 

There are also organised trips and a residential activity week.

All young people need to bring a signed consent form to attend.
